The Gauley River rafting trips that Class VI runs are some of the best in the world, and there's no better introduction to Gauley River whitewater rafting than the Lower/ Upper. The first day you'll run the Lower Gauley. Anything but gentle, the Lower offers some of the same thrills as the Upper, but in an introductory environment, affording more opportunities to tune your comfort level in to the spectacular surroundings. With the previous day's experience under your belt, the second day you'll have all the skills you need to tackle some of the world's most thrilling whitewater, the Upper Gauley River. Our expert guides agree that it's a smart way to go. With our Lower/Upper Gauley River Whitewater trip, you get to experience all the best of Class VI's Gauley trips at a pace that's just right.

Trip Details:

The Lower/Upper gives you a chance to ramp up your experience by rafting the Lower Gauley first before jumping to the Upper Gauley.

Rafting the whitewater of the Upper Gauley on the second day of this package lets you put what you've learned to the test!
